COVID-19 Update
On Friday, October 22nd, independent schools in the Fraser Health Authority were invited to attend a webinar with Dr. Zbar, Medical Health Officer. Dr. Zbar shared the British Columbia COVID-19 Situation Report for K-12 Schools, which can be found on the BCCDC website, or by clicking here. This report contains much information and analysis about COVID-19 in schools, vaccinations, regional differences, etc., and parents are encouraged to read the report.

October REC Meeting
The October meeting of the Regional Education Committee (REC) will be held at the school on Wednesday, October 27th starting at 6:30pm. The meetings are open, except for the “in-camera” portion. The agenda will be posted on the school’s website on Monday evening under the REC tab, which can be found by clicking here.

Early Dismissal Day - November 3rd
We will have our next early dismissal day for our monthly staff meeting on Wednesday, November 3rd. Please send your child to school with a snack and lunch, and they will be dismissed at 12:55pm. Please note that if you have registered with the YMCA Kids Club, this is a great option if you are unable to pick up your children early.

Bestowed annually, these awards recognize education professionals who have made exceptional contributions to benefit their school, students and communities. Panago Pizza Fundraiser
A new fundraiser is on this week: Panago Pizza Certificates. You can buy yours for $12/each for a medium pizza. The school earns $4/certificate sold. An online Google form was emailed home earlier this week with FAQ’s and can also be found by clicking here. Please complete yours by 4pm Monday, October 25th and help support our school! Thank you for your support.

Daily Health Check
Please complete a Daily Health Check with your child each day before they come to school. The easiest way to do this is to go to the BC K-12 Health Check website by clicking here. Please also remember that adults and children in Kindergarten – Grade 7 are required to wear masks in indoor spaces. These proactive steps will help us all remain safe and healthy.
