Our next early dismissal day for our monthly staff meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 3rd.  As always, the students should bring a snack and lunch to school that day, and they will be dismissed at 12:55pm.

WALKATHON is now just 2 WEEKS AWAY!  It is sure to be a fun and exciting day filled with school spirit.  We encourage students to dress in Superhero themed Costumes that they can walk in.  There will be a free hotdog lunch and treat after walking, for all students, staff and families.  This year a large portion of the money we raise is going toward creating more outdoor learning and fun spaces at our school. 

All students who raise at least $125 are automatically entered into a draw for A Freestanding Basketball Hoop (donated by London Drugs)!  Plus, all students earn 1 raffle prize ticket for every $10 they raise that they can put into draws for prizes such as Cineplex Movie Passes, Arts & Crafts, Outside Activities, Various Gift Cards, Games, Zoo passes and much, much more. We want to thank Clayburn Village Candy Shop, Clay Cottage, Canadian Tire, Chalo FreshCo, Cineplex, Columbia Business Systems, Curtis Tire, Dufferin Games Room, London Drugs, Royal Oak Restaurant, Superstore, Tasty Bubble Tea, Treasure Landing, Westlynn Meats & Seafood, White Spot, The Greater Vancouver Zoo, Cheri Black, the Humphreys Family, and many more anonymous people and businesses for donating some awesome prizes and items for our event! 

EARLY BIRD: Bring your pledge sheets in by Monday, May 1; 3pm for an Early Bird Prize and so we can tally up how much we have raised so far! 

Together we can raise $25,000 for outside learning and fun spaces for our school!

This month our Bake Sale and Dress Down Day proceeds have gone to support the Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society (FVDSS).  We have one more Dress Down Day this month where the proceeds will go to support the FVDSS. Students are encouraged to bring $2 and to wear their favourite jersey to school on Friday, April 28th.
