Volunteer Hour Opportunity to help fulfill fundraising hours
Dear Parents, as you know, all families are required to complete a certain number of volunteer hours each year, and we wanted to let you know about some exciting opportunities to earn hours. We know that some of you were unsuccessful in securing a spot for the Walkathon. In order to fulfill your volunteer fundraising hours, we have some opportunities that may be of interest to you. If you have fulfilled those hours, and still require general volunteer hours, you can help out with the 2 upcoming events.
We have two major events happening soon: Sports Day on June 9th (9-12) and an upcoming Hope Aloud! concert for families by Chris Bray with Chalice on May 31st at 6:30 pm in our school gym. For Sports Day, we need volunteers to help with set-up, clean-up, and helping in various ways throughout the morning. It’s a fun and active event, and we know our students would love to see their parents involved.
For the concert, we need volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up and to help run the concession stand, as well as a few parents to do a shopping trip beforehand to gather the necessary supplies. It’s a great opportunity to meet other parents and contribute to a wonderful evening of music and celebration.
We understand that everyone’s schedule is busy, but we hope you’ll consider signing up for one or both of these events to fulfill your volunteer hours. Please contact the office by emailing Mrs. Dlugan. Please click here to email the School Office if you are able to help with either of these events.
Thank you for your continued support of our school community. We can’t wait to see you at Sports Day and at the Hope Aloud Concert!
