Thunder News Flash – December 28, 2019

We hope that you all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, and have been able to spend at least a little bit of the Christmas break relaxing.  As we look ahead to the new year, may it be a year filled with all of God’s blessings.

Even though we are still enjoying our Christmas break, there are probably many of us already anticipating what January will bring.  So, here are some important dates to put on your calendar:

• Monday, January 6th – school reopens with our school Mass at 9:00am at St. James Church, followed by Community Coffee in the school gym
• Wednesday, January 8th – an early dismissal day for our January staff meeting, with students dismissed at 12:55pm
• Friday, January 10th – the Little Cub Classic basketball tournament at SJB for all Grade 7 students – the permission slip will go home on January 6th
• Saturday, January 11th – Work Bee from 9:00am – 2:00pm
• Monday, January 13th – Friday, January 17th – Hip Hop dance instruction, with a school-wide performance in the afternoon on January 17th – the exact time is still to be determined
• Thursday, January 23rd – Open House from 6:30 – 8:30pm
• Friday, January 24th – no school
