ORANGE SHIRT DAY

Wednesday, September 28th – this will be a dress down day (no uniform), but in order to participate, students must wear something orange – this could be an orange shirt, orange pants, orange shoes, etc.  It could also simply be an accessory that is orange.  Please note that as always, the students must be dressed appropriately with no spaghetti straps, no short shorts, no ripped jeans and no clothing with inappropriate logos or sayings.  This day has been moved from the original day of Thursday, September 29th due to the St. Catherine’s Cross Country Meet.

NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH & RECONCILIATION

Friday, September 30th  – NO SCHOOL 

During the week, time will be spent learning about Truth and Reconciliation in age-appropriate ways.  Using story books and resources recommended to us from the CISVA, students will learn about how every child matters.

Our hot lunch ordering system, Munch a Lunch, is now open and accepting orders for October hot lunch dates. Please order by September 28^th. Orders will not be accepted after this date due to ordering timelines with vendors.

If you have an existing account please log in and update your account (ie; student information/Grades) prior to ordering.  If you are a new family to our school, please register.

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Go to: https://munchalunch.com/schools/stjamesandstanns
2. Click the “Register Here” button (as shown below). The system will guide you through
3. After adding your children, click the green “Order Lunch!” button to order
4. Next time, just click the “Login Here” button to access your account.

NOTE: 

Payments will be made by Electronic Funds Direct Debit from your account on the 15^th of each month.  

You will see a “pay now” option at the end of the ordering process, please click pay now to submit your order but please do not submit a cheque.  

Payments will be deducted, and account balances will be updated on the 15^th.
